: Sponsorship : How to become a Sponsor?
Sponsorship
The 2008 Spring Convention Committee is working hard to prepare for the 2008 District 42 Spring Convention. In order to provide you with a high-quality, low cost convention program, the District and the planning committee rely on donations from businesses and individual Toastmasters. As the Sponsorship Chair for the 2008 Spring Convention, I am calling for Toastmasters across District 42 to consider assisting us in our efforts.
There are two ways that you, your Toastmasters Club or your business can help:
1. Sponsoring Educational Sessions
Individual Toastmasters or businesses can help defray the costs of running the educational sessions by sponsoring an educational session. Perhaps a Club member is giving a presentation that you may wish to sponsor. Or perhaps a group of Toastmasters want to get together to sponsor an educational session. Your assistance provides for the cost of the room, hand-outs at the educational session and refreshments. The cost of sponsoring an educational session is $100.00; or
2. Door Prizes
We are also looking for donations for door prizes to be awarded at the various meals and events during the Spring Convention. If you or your business would like to donate items such as golf balls, portfolios, water bottles, tote bags, etc., please let me know.
Everyone who makes a donation or sponsorship will be acknowledged.
If you are interested in sponsoring an educational session or donating a door prize, please contact Michael Pucylo, ATM-S, CL at 780-429-9789 or toll-free at 1-800-215-1016.
