Just Whose Words Are They? A Session on Canadian Copyright
The legal sea of copyright law can seem like sailing through uncharted territory,
at best. Have you ever wondered whether adapted materials are breaking the
law? If so, what are the risks to you, your Toastmasters club or your business?
Alternatively, are you worried that something you created may be misused by
someone else and what could you do about it?
"Just Whose Words Are They?" will
define and explore what Canadian Copyright law covers; what it is intended
to protect and when you need to get permission
to use someone else's work. This session is led by two seasoned facilitators
who have worked extensively in the copyright field and will help you to
expand your knowledge of Canadian copyright using examples, activities
and answers
to questions specifically related to you.
