Mona is an impassioned Speaker, Coach, Educator, and Trainer, who has helped
over 4,000 families lessen the stress of caring for mentally ill family
members, and parents challenged with raising teenagers. Her ten plus years
of coaching families, combined with real life experience, has rewarded her
with strategies to manage the stress.
As an educator, Mona helps families to learn how to communicate, empower
their challenging children, and bring harmony to the family. Mona is a facilitator
of the Family Peer Support Groups for Canadian Mental Health; she guides and
supports family members to discover ways to manage mental illness in the family.
She is a Program Consultant for Parent Support Association, educating parents
who are feeling challenged in raising teenagers. She is an instructor for
“Discover My Purpose” sessions for Chinook Learning Services, which provide
clarity needed to take control of your personal life, career life and family
life.
As a transition coach, Mona facilitates sessions to help people create
a life that works for them, inspiring them to increase their potential to
fulfill their passions. She is also the founder of a Mentoring Program developed
for Alberta and Saskatchewan Toastmaster Clubs, numbering 240.
