Michelle Devlin, DTM

Passport Details:

Michelle, a Toastmaster for nearly ten years, shares the philosophy of Dr. Ralph Smedley, the founder of Toastmasters who believed communication skills should be shared in our communities. Since achieving her DTM designation, Michelle has taken her leadership and communication skills and shared them with various community organizations including YOUCAN, the United Way, the Gateway Association for Community Living and many others. She believes in demonstrating to others the value of strong communication skills.

Michelle is currently a member of the Wild Rose Advanced Toastmasters club in Edmonton. She was selected Division Governor of the year in 2003-2004 and has twice been honored with the District Bulletin of the year award from District 42. Michelle’s enthusiasm and energy, combined with her experience and skill, lend to dynamic seminars that create a setting that is conducive to learning.

As the owner of Seriously Speaking, Michelle is passionate about helping people reach their potential. Michelle has a unique ability to inspire her clients and supports their pursuit to develop effective communication skills. Perhaps her business ventures will lead her to opportunities in Africa or Australia, two continents she hopes to visit with her husband and two children one day.
