Speech Drafting with Ease: Stage Set

Do you know that as many as 75% of new Toastmasters do not complete the 10 speeches in the Competent Communicator manual in their first year with Toastmasters? Many Toastmasters lose their way on the Competent Communicator track.

Find your coordinates with this session. which will introduce speech-drafting for Competent Communicator speech projects. Whether you are a beginning Toastmaster, a slow-track Toastmaster, or a volunteer Speech Coach who assists new Toastmasters, this Education Session will offer you a speech-drafting tool that will help streamline your creative process, making you more time-efficient and more effective! You will be led through a workshop that the Presenter and his High Performance Leadership action team developed. With the help of two other Club members, this Workshop will allow you to quickly develop your own speech outline. You won? want to miss this practical, hands-on workshop!

Norman Bacon was the Charter Vice President of Membership, the second Club President, and is currently Club VP Education of his 3-year-old club, Taxmasters Toastmasters in Regina. Norman has experience as an articling lawyer, accountant, commissioned salesperson and is a veteran of the Canada Revenue Agency.
