Effective Delegation

Cross borders and boundaries in your club with effective delegation as you discover what delegation is, why it matters, and what can happen when it is not done properly! In this Cracker Barrel Session, you will learn how and when to delegate, how to select delegates, set objectives and monitor progress.

Rob Arrand, CC

Passport Details:

Rob joined a newly-created club at his place of work (Colt Discovery) in 2006 and has been an active member ever since. He has achieved Competent Communicator status in 2007, and is close to fulfilling CL requirements. He has spoken at a number of other clubs, including recently being test speaker at an Evaluation Contest. Presently, Rob is Secretary for his Club Executive, Chair of their fledgling mentoring program, and Chair of their Evaluation Contest. A professional engineer with over 30 years in the business, Rob has had many opportunities to learn and practise the art and science of delegation. He will bring some real-world examples to this session at the Spring Convention. Rob would dearly love to stand on another planet, but he fears that such a thrill will have to wait for his grandchildren!
