Passport Details:
Rosemary has been a Toastmaster for 8 years and currently belongs to two
clubs: Foresters and Wild Rose Advanced. She is the VP Education for Foresters,
and the President of Wild Rose Advanced. Once she completes her High Performance
Leadership project, she will have achieved her DTM. Rosemary has been on the
District team as an Area Governor, and in her first year of Toastmasters she
achieved club Rookie of the Year, followed by Club and Area Toastmaster of
the Year the year following.
In her non-Toastmaster hours, Rosemary is a full-time R.N. at the Misericordia
Hospital in Obstetrics.
Rosemary’s experience with evaluations comes from both sides of the
coin. As a speaker, she values a motivating, positive evaluation that gives
her areas to build on in future speech presentations. As an evaluator, she
looks at the speaker’s strengths and gives concrete examples of enhancement
suggestions for them to use in future presentations. Rosemary has competed
in Evaluation Contests, which she finds challenging opportunities for growth.
Rosemary loves to travel, with Europe as a personal favourite. The country
she would most want to visit is Egypt as she is intrigued with their history
and culture. On her Life List of Things To Do, she wants to see the Great
Pyramids and travel down the Nile River
